Proper posture is important for the success of athletic endeavors as well as the longevity of the body’s joints. Poor posture can lead to decreased movement capability, pain, and even injury. Matt offers a full posture and movement screening to help build a program that is personalized to your body. Correctional exercise will help you feel better, move better, perform better and will help your body last a lifetime.
Matt has 10 years of break-dancing experience and has competed all over California. He has also performed in dance shows and music videos. His lessons focus on building strength, coordination, injury prevention, and exploring the creative aspects of the dance. He believes that dance can build self-confidence through promoting physical fitness and self-expression. Matt accepts clients from ages 5+ and has built a curriculum that makes break-dancing easy and accessible to everyone regardless of their age and experience level.

Matt graduated from California State University of Dominguez Hills with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a Pre-Physical Therapy emphasis and is a certified Correctional Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He also holds a 2nd degree black belt, has 10 years of Break-Dancing experience, 7 years of resistance training experience, and currently works as a physical therapy aide in the out-patient orthopedic physical therapy setting. Matt uses his unique skill set to build programs that are fun, help prevent injuries, and support clients in reaching their personal best.
